Furr-real!

And another project has started! This time, a new.exciting challenge involving fake furr, resin, latex and foam. Yes, we're talking about a furrsuit! A Charr from Guildwars2 tobe precise :3 Garsta Trotgrove is her name. Sister of master ranger Akina Trotgrove. As an engineer, Garsta protects the realms of their world together with her sister and mighty warrior Frigg Fierceheart. Both Trotgrove sisters damaged an eye fighting the big dragon. While Akina adapted using one eye sharply, Garsta's eye was saved and repaired by the ingenious Asura. That's the story for now :3

Closer and closer!

The EFF is getting closer and closer and Luán is heading more and more towards our goal ^^.

The gems are ordered and hopefully delivered on tuesday or wednesday, I've bought the ticket to the EFF.

Yesterday Laura and I worked on the bodess, almost done! My God I hope I will make it... I MUST!

I have also experimented a little with the make up, I never use blue shades and stuffs so I hope something awesome will come out n_n. The white lenses are still wearable so I don't have to worry about that anymore :3
I've bought a beautiful pair of fake lashes and dark blue glittery nailpolish!

Let's make a list of what still has to be done..

To buy:
- a pair of hotpants (if I don't have a proper one)
- shiny pair of panty hoses?
- tiara for the headpiece

To finish/make:
- cut the final silver linings of the skirt pieces
- finish the straps of the bodess
- wire the breast and armpieces, draw and cut silver linings
- draw and cut silver linings of bodess
- draw and cut silver linings of the shoes
- make the headpiece
- decorate it all with the gems

I asked my mom to help out with the cutting, now I just MUST be able to finish it ^-^

Luán; to do list!

Alllllright let's make a little list of what to do/buy/order before things go out of hand :')

To do:
- Cut out silver linings
- To find Gutermann fabric glue ;_;
- Make sure how many gems and silver shiny thingies need to be ordered
- Start on the head-, arm- and breastpieces
- Finish the top
- Experiment make up

But then in a different order :B

New project EFF 2012!!

Yay! Laura and I started a new project :D Well, I have to give Laura all the credit for this one since she made this amazing design to start with:



This is Laura's design. Mine is about the same, yet different X3
If you look at the colors, my dress has exact the opposite set of colors (more blue than purple). Also, instead of curlies, my dress has a bit more spiky, flame like thingies X3.
We're gonna be like sisters again :D <3

And if it weren't for Laura, I wouldn't have come this far! There's little time, yet so much has been done and has to happen X3 *excited*

Ordering gems for the costume is also so much fun ^-^

I have also been thinking about the name for the project. Since Laura's dress has the warm purple colors coming out a bit more and my dress has more the cool blue colors, I think I'll call my project Luán, based on the Irish word for "moon".
YAY so happyy!! Saturday I'll go to Laura to work on the costume together (I am not as skilled yet :B) and hopefully I get to do alot of things this week :3
